Yard Sale x Bleecker Burger: Cult Food Spots Joining Forces

They’re two of the most beloved food spots in London, and now Yard Sale Pizza and Bleecker Burger are coming together for a special collaboration.

Since being founded in 2014, Yard Sale Pizza has grown into one of the capital’s favourite pizza restaurants, with 12 outposts across the city plus a thriving delivery service. Bleecker Burger has seen similar success. The brainchild of Zan Kaufman, it began its life as a food truck back in 2012, going on to become one of London’s most lauded burger joints. So what better way for Yard Sale to mark its 10-year anniversary than by creating the ultimate burger pizza alongside Bleecker? 

Made from its signature base and 72-hour fermented dough, the Bleecker Birthday Pizza will be topped with Bleecker beef patty, or a plant-based alternative, alongside diced white onions, fior di latte mozzarella and tomato sauce – drizzled in Bleecker’s house sauce, naturally. Diners can choose either the 12 inch or the huge 18 inch, perfect for sharing.

Not only will the dish taste delicious, the collaboration is for a good cause: for every pizza sold, £1 will be donated to The Outside Project, an LGBTIQ+ Community Shelter, Centre and Domestic Abuse Refuge. 

Yard Sale is known for its buzzy collaborations. Over the years the pizza spot has created specials alongside the likes of Romesh Ranganathan, Loyle Carner, Jessie Ware and Amelia Dimoldenberg, as well as food institutions such as Ixta Belfrage, Four Legs and Mangal II. 

Bleecker Burger is renowned for its juicy beef burgers, which are made with top-quality ingredients and constructed to perfection. Earlier this year, the restaurant scooped up the Burger of the Year title at the 10th National Burger Awards, with judge Tristan O’Hana saying they won because: ‘the patties were seasoned and cooked to perfection, the bun was soft but stable, and the onion, bacon, and house sauce brought all of Bleecker’s trademark flavours together in a flawlessly delivered way.’

The Bleecker Birthday Pizza will be available for five weeks from 10 May, across all Yard Sale outposts in locations including Finsbury Park, Balham, Clapton and Tottenham. yardsalepizza.com
