Now a state-of-the-art self-catered property, it makes a perfect base for exploring Winchester’s picturesque cathedral city. Hire the whole place and make use of the excellently equipped kitchen for a family weekend away, or book one of the three individually designed, fresh and contemporary duplex-style bedrooms, with snazzy en suites, as an unrivaled base for a work trip. While you’ll be left to your own devices, expect to find hotel-style luxury touches such as Egyptian cotton sheets and fluffy white towels. Eggs and bread are included, and there is a brilliant breakfast honesty tray for any extra morning nibbles. As comfortable as it is convenient.
