And you’ll never guess where it’s located

The BBC’s The Split might be a gritty divorce drama, but that doesn’t stop you from wanting to step into the characters’ shoes for a day – at least so that you can also inhabit their rather magnificent family home in Clapham. Luckily for you, the impressive property has just hit the rental market. Take a look inside this all-important house from The Split.
You Can Now Rent This Luxurious House From The Split
On screen, the formidable family home from The Split looks as if it might be tucked away on a private road in Surrey – but it actually stands proudly in central London, on the leafy Macauley Road in Clapham North.
The house – which is inhabited by Hannah Stern (Nicole Walker) and her husband Nathan (Stephen Mangan) in the show – made a particular impression on fans thanks to its dazzling open plan kitchen, which boasts a huge marble-topped island and a triple-height ceiling. While we only see snippets of the rest of the interiors throughout the series, the property is, in fact, rather palatial: expect seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms and two sprawling reception rooms, plus a large rear garden.
You’ll also spot a study, gym and even a wine cellar across the 3,500 square feet of living space. The driveway can accommodate up to three cars, and the road itself is monitored via a private security service which runs from 7am to 7pm every day.
So, how exactly do you go about renting such a gorgeous home? Well, it’s primarily available for short term lets – partly because it’s still being used by production companies and events teams.
‘We are proud to present this outstanding property as part of our exclusive partnership with Filmfixer, which allows us to offer homes of this grandeur to production companies for TV, film, and special events,’ says Sinead Conlon, head of corporate relocation services and short term rentals at John D Wood & Co. ‘This is an opportunity not just to rent, but to be part of something truly cinematic – a perfect conversation starter at any gathering!’
Available from March 2025; price on application. For more information, visit johndwood.co.uk
