According to the property experts at Hamptons, more and more high-net-worth individuals are choosing short-lets over hotels. After all, while a penthouse suite is certainly luxurious, renting out a whole property affords a higher degree of privacy, as well as offering much more space to entertain – which is, of course, particularly important during the festive season.

When it comes to celebrities, however, the world of short-term rentals reaches far beyond just an empty house.
