The White Lotus
If you haven’t watched The White Lotus yet, where have you been? Each series follows the guests and employees at a fictional, exclusive holiday resort, with their stays being disrupted by new truths and a mysterious murder.
The White Lotus Season 3: Where Are They Filming?
Succession
This critically acclaimed TV series had audiences captivated throughout its five-year and four season run. Set in the high-stakes corporate world, Succession follows the lives of the Roy family who are the owners of Waystar Royco – one of the world’s largest media and entertainment conglomerates. The series centres around the power struggle within the family as patriarch Logan Roy battles with declining health and considers who his successor should be. Over four seasons, his four adult children follow a personal agenda to seek control of his company with the power struggles intensifying and alliances being created and broken.
The Lovers
Foul mouthed rom coms don’t get better than this. Set in Belfast, supermarket worker Janet (Roisin Gallagher) meets uptight political broadcaster Seamus (Johnny Flynn) and, though the pair could not be more opposite, they find themselves puzzlingly drawn to one another. A story of two divided people with very different backgrounds, this is the perfect watch if you’re after something easy going.
The Last Of Us
A zombie drama and video game adaptation, The Last Of Us took us all by surprise last year. While slightly gory, it’s mostly a high-octane yet emotional thriller delving into close relationships and poetically exploring what humanity is like on the edge of disaster.
Game Of Thrones
OK, OK, maybe it didn’t end quite like we were all hoping, but Game of Thrones is still definitely worth the watch (or rewatch) if you haven’t indulged. Set in a mythical society called Westeros, we watch as nine noble families grapple for the throne, while an unprecedented threat stirs beyond the bordering walls.
House of the Dragon
Set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon focuses on one of the main families in Game of Thrones: the Targaryen family. We track their rise and fall, with a star-studded cast guiding us through the mysterious land.
Bad Host: Hunting the Couchsurfing Predator
Based on the hit podcast Verified, this three-part documentary series explores how a group of remarkable young women were all victims of a predator who lured them to stay with him by using a website where travellers can find trustworthy hosts to put them up in their homes for free. By tracing each other through the internet, these young women united and spent six years battling to bring the perpetrator to justice, and this documentary traces their compelling story, highlighting the bravery these women displayed whie shedding light on the dark side of the sharing economy.
A Town Called Malice
If you’re after a bit of 80s nostalgia, this Sky Original series will scratch the itch. Set in the 1980s, A Town Called Malice follows the Lord family as they emigrate to the Costa del Sol to try and reinvent themselves and re-capture their former gangland glory. A musical love letter to the 80s, this is an intoxicating cocktail of crime thriller and family saga – full of romance, obsession, violence, deceit and swagger.

David Holmes: The Boy Who Lived
This touching documentary film tells the inspirational story of David Holmes, Daniel Radcliffe’s stunt double from the Potter movies, whose tragic accident on set left him paralysed with a debilitating spinal injury. The pair formed an inextricable bond over the next ten years and throughout the subsequent movies and – featuring personal footage, interviews with David and Daniel, and behind-the-scenes of the stunt work on Harry Potter – The Boy Who Lived explores David’s journey and their friendship while showcasing his extraordinary resilience.
Sex and the City
Every episode of Sex and the City is available to watch on Sky and NOW, right from the first season up to the sixth and final. A cult favourite, this iconic series follows the lives of four friends – Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda – as they traverse through their 30s whilst living in New York City. Despite being very different people, the foursome share an inexplicable bond and friendship supporting each other through the highs and lows of being a woman in the nineties and noughties.

Finished Sex and the City? Time to watch the reboot, And Just Like That…, which is also available on Sky and NOW. Eleven years on from the events of sequel film Sex and the City 2, And Just Like That… revisits NYC and Carrie, channelling the energy of the original series – but, instead of their 30s and the nineties, these women are exploring their 50s and the rocky terrain of the modern day.
I Hate Suzie
Created by Lucy Prebble and Billie Piper, this dark comedy drama follows the life of fictional actress Suzie Pickles – played by Piper – whose life begins to unravel when her phone is hacked and compromising photos are leaked to the media. Each episode is titled after the stages Suzie goes through – from shock, denial, fear to guilt, anger and acceptance. Loved it? There’s also a three-episode sequel to watch: I Hate Suzie Too.
Fashion Reimagined
This thought-provoking documentary follows Amy Powney, a daughter of environmental activists, through her trajectory from outsider to fashion pioneer as she sets out to create a fashion collection that is both ethical and sustainable. It provides insight into the challenges that come with creating sustainable fashion and the careful decisions that need to be made at every step of the supply chain.
The Undoing
Based on the book You Should Have Known by Jean Hanff Korelitz, this Emmy and Golden Globes nominated psychological drama stars Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant and follows Grace, a successful therapist whose perfect life is turned upside down overnight. A violent death, a missing husband and a chain of terrible revelations, this is a whodunnit with a twist.
The Five
Famed author Harlan Coben has enjoyed huge TV success, most recently with Fool Me Once on Netflix. But, if you’re looking for more, try The Five, an original series created for Sky by Coben. Just like his novels, this is a mystery thriller and follows four childhood friends who are forced to revisit a tragedy from their past.
Stella
Enjoyed Gavin & Stacey? Then you’ll want to add Stella to your list. Created by Ruth Jones – co-creator of Gavin and Stacey – and David Peet, we follow the ups and downs of Stella, a struggling mum of three living in Pontyberry. With six series to its name, it’s a warm and wholesome comedy, perfect for a cosy evening at home.
