Europe’s most valuable horse race is back for 2024: The Grand National, held annually at Liverpool’s Aintree Racecourse since 1839. A National Hunt race, horses leap over 30 fences across almost 7 km, with a glittering prize fund awaiting their finish. Fancy tuning in this year? Here’s where to watch the Grand National 2024.

Where To Watch The Grand National 2024

On ITV1

The Grand National will be aired live on ITV1 from 11–13 April 2024. The times are as follows:

  • Thursday 11 April: 2–5pm
  • Friday 12 April: 2–5pm
  • Saturday 15 April: 12.55–5pm

The Opening Show will also be aired on ITV4 from 9.30–10.30am on Thursday and Friday, and 9.30–10.35am Saturday.

On Racing TV

The races will also be aired live on Racing TV: Sky channel 426, and Virgin Media channel 536.

Stream Online

ITV will also be streaming the Grand National on their website, itv.com

Many bookmakers also stream the races online, including Betfred and William Hill. Note, however, that you usually have to place a bet before you are allowed to tune in. Learn more at grandnational.org.uk
