Teaser Trailer

Introducing Bake Off‘s first animated trailer: a playful cartoon clip that sees winged insect versions of presenters Noel and Alison escape a thunder storm and delve into a land of baking goodness, featuring Carl the caterpillar (wink wink), a field of Jammy Dodgers, jelly, picnic feasts and plenty more. Watch it below.

The Great British Bake Off is comfort telly at its best,’ says Channel 4’s deputy executive creative director, Lex Down, on the teaser. ‘We wanted our campaign to reflect this and deliver its own slice of cakey warmth and joy. We created pin badges adorned with bright baking illustrations and messages of positivity, and in a Great British Bake Off first created a fully animated world rich with detail that reveals different delights with each watch. Set to the smooth voice of Sammy Davis Jnr singing ‘Sweet Gingerbread Man’, with Noel and Alison as our metamorphosed guides, we hope to transport young and old, baking fans or not, to a place where the worst that might happen is a collapsing cake. Flour Power indeed.’

Who Are The Presenters & Judges?

Paul Hollywood, Prue Leith, Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond will all return for series 15 of The Great British Bake Off as the two judges and two presenters respectively

In 2023, Alison joined as the show’s new presenter, alongside Noel – and they’re both back for series 15. Judges Prue and Paul will also be returning, despite Prue having stepped down from the celebrity version. ‘I’m still doing The Great American Baking Show,’ she said. ‘I’m still doing The Great British Bake Off, the two main shows of Bake Off. What I’m not doing this year is the celebrity one.’

What Happens On Great British Bake Off?

Bake Off is one of the UK’s most popular baking TV shows. Over the course of 10 episodes, it sees a line-up of amateur bakers competing to take home the crown, taking part in a series of increasingly difficult challenges. Each week, contestants are given three challenges based around a theme: a signature bake, a technical challenge and a show-stopper.

What Has Happened So Far?

Cake Week and Biscuit Week have both passed with Bread Week on the horizon. Need a recap? Find our coverage below.
