The Black Dog pub, Vauxhall

The Black Dog

This London pub has been inundated with fans since it was namechecked in Swift’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department. In the eponymous song, she sings: ‘I am someone who until recent events you shared your secrets with and your location. You forgot to turn it off. And so I watch as you walk into some bar called The Black Dog.’ It’s thought the song is about Joe Alwyn, Swift’s ex-boyfriend who she lived with in north London – reportedly in Crouch End. Located in Vauxhall, The Black Dog is an upmarket pub offering a Spanish-inspired menu, with a mixture of tapas and larger plates, plus a popular roast.

The ultimate activity for Taylor Swift stans, the club night is run by fans, for fans, and tours the country in a variety of locations. The next London nights will take place at Between The Bridges, an events venue near the Southbank.
