Affordable Art Fair

Affordable Art Fair is back in London for its Battersea autumn edition, bringing an esteemed lineup of galleries and artists to south London. Celebrating its landmark 25th anniversary, expect the fair to be bigger and better than ever, with more than 100 galleries and thousands of artworks to discover, all priced from £50 to £7,500.

Nestled within Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane, the Michelin-starred French fine-dining restaurant Pavyllon London has launched a new ‘Petit Pavyllon’ cookery class series, set to inspire budding chefs. Welcoming the whole family, parents tuck into a delicious lunch while little ones master the art of French cookery before proudly presenting their creations at the Payllon counter, all the while donning a classic chef hat and apron to take home with them.

Details: Sessions available at midday and 1.30pm on 20 October, 17 November, 15 December and 19 January 2025. The class is tailored for children aged six to 12 years old and priced at £350, including a four-course set lunch menu for two adults and one children’s cooking class, plus a chef’s hat and apron. Headlong’s UK tour of a refreshed staging of Lorraine Hansberry’s classic A Raisin in the Sun will be in London this month, bringing the Younger Family back to the stage, daring to ask how we can create a meaningful life in a world designed to keep you down. In 1959, A Raisin in the Sun was the first play by a Black woman to be staged on Broadway – making it the perfect play to watch this Black History Month.
