Cooking just levelled up

It’s undeniable: air fryers are revolutionary. Not only do they provide a healthier method of cooking that uses less oil and fat, they also offer a particularly speedy way of whipping up your favourite dishes. And it’s not just fish, meat or potatoes – there are snacks and entire meals that you can make in an air fryer. Read on for some of our air fryer recipe highlights.

Air Fryer Recipes: 5 Things You Didn’t Know You Could Cook In An Air Fryer

Croissants

Give your pastries the air fryer treatment by popping them in the fryer for 10-12 minutes at 180°C. They’ll be crispy on the outside and perfectly soft when you tear them apart.

Hard-Boiled Eggs

They say a watched pot never boils – so why not cut out the pot (and the water) altogether and prepare your eggs in the air fryer? Simply preheat your air fryer to 120°C and cook your eggs for 15 minutes. If you want runnier yolks, cook for around nine minutes instead.

Lasagne

This hack went viral on TikTok: believe it or not, you can cook an entire lasagne in your air fryer. Once you’ve browned your mince and prepped your white sauce, you can layer them on top of lasagne sheets in a dish in your air fryer and cook for 20 minutes at 180°C.

Tofu

Transform your tofu by seasoning it with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and salt before tossing it in cornstarch and air frying for 10–15 minutes at 200°C. This failsafe air fryer recipe promises crispy cubes of tofu which are packed with flavour.

Bacon

Who needs a hob and a pan? Simply arrange strips of bacon on a tray in your air fryer and cook at 200°C. Ten minutes is the optimal time for wonderfully crisped-up rashers.
