A-list pink wine to drink this summer
Once it was perfume, nowadays rosé wine is the go-to for celebrities looking to branch out into a new field. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were pioneers of the trend, buying Château Miraval in Côtes de Provence back in 2011 (although that one didn’t end so well, with an ongoing legal dispute surrounding the French estate). Kylie joined the party in 2020, to sparkling success – her pink fizz is the nation’s top-selling branded prosecco rosé. And now Meghan Markle is jumping aboard the trend, with plans to launch a bottle of rosé under her lifestyle brand American Rivera Orchard. So which other celebrities own rosé brands?

Post Malone: Maison No. 9

He may be best known for his rapping and face tattoos, but did you know Post Malone also owns a rosé brand? Maison No. 9 is a collaboration between the American musician, winemaker Alexis Cornu, entrepreneur James Morrissey and music manager Dre London. The name is inspired by Post Malone’ favourite tarot card (he’s full of surprises!), the Nine of Swords, which represents overcoming challenges, and the crisp wine is housed in a sleek, tall bottle. ‘Rosé is for when you want to get a little fancy,’ he said of the launch. ‘Maison No. 9 goes down smooth, you’re all going to love it.’
John Legend: LVE

John Legend launched a wine brand back in 2015, alongside French oenophile Jean Charles Boisset, who heads up California’s Raymond Vineyards. The wines are made in partnership with the Napa Valley winery, with the collection including the LVE Rosé: a pale pink wine with notes of peach blossom, raspberry and apricot. In an interview with Wine Spectator back in 2019, he drew comparisons with winemaking and music, saying: ‘That process of continuing to blend a wine until you get it exactly where you think it’s perfect, and you feel like it’s opened up and all your senses are thrilled by it, I think it’s a similar process to when the music comes together and you’re waiting for that perfect mastering process.’
Cara, Poppy and Chloe Delevingne: Della Vite

The Delevingne sisters, Cara, Poppy and Chloe, exude cool – so of course their wine brand would follow suit. First released in the UK in 2020, Della Vite began as a vegan prosecco line, made from hand-picked grapes from the Valdobbiadene region. A couple of years later, the trio launched a rosé fizz too, the Prosecco DOC Rose Della Vite. Housed inside a characteristically chic bottle, the wine is an extra-dry blend composed of 11 percent Pinot Nero, with a crisp, fresh taste and notes of wild berries and rhubarb. You can also swerve sore heads with the newly released non-alcoholic version, the Della Vite Zero.
Sarah Jessica Parker: Invivo

We think Carrie would approve of SJP’s collection with New Zealand-based wine company Invivo, which includes a southern French rosé. Created in collaboration with a Provence family estate, the wine has a peach hue, with aromas of grapefruit, apple and nectarine, created to represent ‘summer in a glass’. ‘Blending the rosé was an experience I never thought I would be participating in and was not only great fun but informative, surprising and wonderfully satisfying. I’m looking forward to adding it to our collection,’ said Parker.
Snoop Dogg: Cali by Snoop

He might have rapped about gin and juice, but Snoop Dogg has ventured into the wine world with his latest venture, Cali by Snoop. He partnered with Australian wine company 19 Crimes to launch his brand, starting with red and going on to launch a rosé. ‘I created Cali Rosé to go with anything, it doesn’t need to be fancy,’ he said. ‘It might surprise you that the sweet freshness of Cali Rosé is a match made in heaven for spicy foods.’
