SABA Ramen is a futuristic spot
Ramen fan? So are we. But, now open in Kensington, SABA is a ramen bar with a difference. Not only does SABA offer DIY ramen, but a resident robot chef also cooks up mouthwatering KFC (that’s Korean fried chicken, just fyi) in the same store. Here are all of the juicy details, plus where to find it.
SABA: London’s First Permanent DIY Ramen Bar
Visiting Kensington Palace, the Royal Albert Hall, or just strolling through west London? If you’ve worked up an appetite and you have a hankering for ramen, this new Korean convenience store might be the answer to your prayers.
We’re talking about SABA, a new ramen bar slash food shop perched on the iconic High Street Kensington. Step inside and you’ll be welcomed by a wall of ramen options: 25 flavours to choose from spanning seafood to kimchi, which are then dropped into a bowl, topped up with boiling water and finished with an array of toppings of your choice. It’s a simple machine akin to a rudimentary coffee machine you might find in a train station, but the unique ease factor is certainly a draw. SABA transforms packetted ramen into a hearty, wholesome meal in a matter of minutes.
