Yes, chef!
We are just a week away from the hotly-anticipated third season of The Bear – but if you can’t wait that long, you can get your fix via a different route. Popping up in the UK this summer is a food truck inspired by the hit Disney show, which will serve up some of the mouth-watering dishes seen on screen.
The Bear Food Truck: What’s On The Menu?
A collaboration with Mob Kitchen, the ‘immersive eating experience’ will include the kind of comfort food fare featured in Carmy’s Chicago restaurant, The Original Beef of Chicagoland (later renamed The Beef). Naturally, there will be beef – served here in the form of beef cheek doughnuts, made with braised beef cheek, roast bone marrow and mature cheddar cheese in a sugar-topped doughnut.
The menu which debuted at Taste of London included skewered cheese and onion hash browns served with cheddar cheese custard, burnt leeks and chives; and 12-spice fried buttermilk chicken, plus a glazed pork belly skewer made with a signature glaze. This will change slightly at each venue.

The truck will initially arrive in London’s Boxpark Shoreditch on 25 June, before travelling to festivals including BST Hyde Park and Soho House Festival, ending at Wilderness Festival in Oxfordshire at the beginning of August.
This ties in with the launch of the third season of The Bear on 27 June, which will follow Carmy (Jeremy Allen-White), Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) and the gang as they battle to make their revamped restaurant a success.
Fun fact: the restaurant depicted in The Bear is actually based on a real-life restaurant in Chicago, Mr. Beef, which began its life as a food stand before finding a permanent home. It remains open today, located in the River North neighbourhood and serving classic beef sandwiches just like we see on the show.
The Bear food truck’s dates and locations are:
- Boxpark Shoreditch, 25 June
- Soho House Festival, 4 July
- BST Hyde Park from 29 June to 14 July
- Wilderness from 1 to 4 August
