Thinking about revamping your bathroom? Here’s how to get ahead of the curve…
As 2024 comes to a close, the interiors experts are wasting no time in sharing their trend predictions for next year – and they’ve got a lot to say about bathrooms. Here are the biggest bathroom trends forecasted for 2025, courtesy of the team at Victorian Plumbing.
Top Bathroom Trends For 2025
Organic Bathrooms
‘A trend that is becoming increasingly popular in the bathroom design world is the organic bathroom,’ says Alex Woods, Victorian Plumbing’s bathroom expert. ‘This trend incorporates natural materials, clean lines and minimalism to create a harmoniously balanced aesthetic.’
So, what are the hallmarks of an organic bathroom? ‘Using natural stone tiles paired with concealed valves, wall-mounted taps, and wet room shower screens will allow you to achieve an organic feel,’ says Alex. Greenery is the perfect addition, too: think small potted plants and hanging eucalyptus.

Dark, Modern Bathrooms
‘I predict a rising trend in dark bathrooms for 2025,’ Alex reflects. ‘Whilst going for an entirely dark space can feel bold, incorporating black accents is a great way to achieve the look without a complete makeover.’
If you’re thinking about updating your tiles, opt for something moody: ‘Dark tiles in black, burgundy, purple, blue or green is a great option to create a statement look,’ recommends Alex – but if walls feel like too much of a commitment, you can start with smaller additions like taps and other fixtures. ‘To add the dark modern trend into your bathroom in a more subtle way, using matt black fittings such as wall-mounted taps is a stylish choice, and it will make your space feel chic and sophisticated,’ Alex explains.

Going Green – ‘70s Style
‘We’re starting to see ‘70s bathroom themes making their return, and going into 2025, I predict an increased interest in the green bathroom trend,’ says Alex. Think green paint shades and vibrant tiles.
‘When incorporating these 70s styles, however, it’s important to modernise the look,’ Alex continues. ‘Green countertop basins add a unique touch that you can combine with neutral and earth-tone tiles to bring it into the modern day. Plus, green is perfect for creating a spa-like atmosphere while keeping the overall design elegant and refined.’

Natural Colour Palettes
‘As we move towards 2025, the trend towards using a natural, earthy colour palettes in bathroom design continues to grow in popularity,’ explains Alex. ‘Shades such as stone, beige, brown and terracotta offer a modern, neutral palette that effortlessly blends warmth and sophistication.’
Starting with a neutral base also provides the perfect opportunity to incorporate some bolder elements, from feature walls to colourful splashbacks. ‘To add a subtle yet bold touch, consider incorporating geometric patterns into your bathroom design,’ suggests Alex. ‘Whether used on floors or walls, geometric terracotta tiles bring warmth and character while maintaining a contemporary feel.’
