Will le Fleming has been announced as the founding Master of Thomas’s College.
Will is currently Head of The Abbey School in Reading and has an impressive track record of success within the independent school sector.
He attended Eton and Clare College in Cambridge, as well as having previously worked as a journalist and author.
Will’s principles align perfectly with the mission of Thomas’s. Their own parents, David and Joanna Thomas, responded to the rote-learning prevalent in 1970s junior education by developing an ethos which was centred on deep and sustained kindness, breadth of experience, and academic excellence.
The new co-educational secondary school is based in London for children aged 11 to 18 which will offer day, weekly and flexi-boarding places. Will’s involvement with its development begins this year ahead of the school opening in September 2025.
