Despite the intermittent spring showers, we’re already dreaming of our next tropical escape. And with summer just around the corner, it’s time to get that packing list in order. Our first stop? Anya’s Dive Shop, the latest concept store from British designer Anya Hindmarch.

Now Open: Anya’s Dive Shop

Wetsuit? Check. Goggles? Check. Puffer fish-themed drawstring bag? Perhaps not the most conventional, but check. You can find all this and more at Anya’s Dive Shop, a brand new concept store inspired by the small-town coastal dive shops dotted from Florida to Folkestone.

‘Anya’s Dive Shop welcomes everyone from the snorkelling novice to the free-diving fanatic,’ says Anya Hindmarch. ‘Full to the brim with equipment, inflatables and of course the perfect raffia holiday accessories, it makes a visit the perfect place to prep for your trip to the sea.’

Highlights

The fun starts outside on the street, where visitors can truly get a taste of Anya Hindmarch’s immersive shopping experience. The shop front, repainted to resemble a quirky dive shop, is crowned by a slightly less conventional greeter: a shark bursting from the wooden boards above the windows.

And the underwater-themed escapism doesn’t stop there. Anya Hindmarch’s focal collection for the concept store similarly takes inspiration from the treasures of the deep, with bejewelled jellyfish evening bags, raffia octopus cross-bodies, blowfish charms, raffia sea urchins, light-reflecting fish coin purses and more.

You’ll also find a mega beach bag edit, comprised of raffia and jute creations featuring Anya Hindmarch’s signature organisational pockets, as well as numerous aquatic-themed accessories spanning goggles, bumper stickers, T-shorts, swimming inflatables, snorkels and rubber rings.

Other brands setting sail for Anya’s Dive Shop include 29/71, who offer a selection of diving gear, Vacation, a Miami-based brand known for its playful beach essentials, and Petites Pommes, who specialise in kids’ holiday kit.
