Nobody’s Child Introduces Digital Product Passports With SS24 Line

London-based fashion label Nobody’s Child is stepping up its responsibility credentials with its SS24 line, the Happy Place by Fearne Cotton collection, as it brings back its digital product passports (DPP). Created ahead of upcoming EU product transparency legislation with the aim to give its customers engaging ways to track the journey of their clothing from design to production, the passports are available to view via a QR code on the clothing item’s care label – simply scan to access a wealth of information, including details about the materials used, the manufacturing process, the environmental impact of each purchase and even links to repair and rental services. It’s not a one-off either; Nobody’s Child plan to start rolling out DPPs across the core collection from AW24, so we’ll be seeing plenty more of this technology in the future.

‘We’re delighted to introduce the second edition of our Digital Product Passport pilot,’ says Jody Plows, CEO of Nobody’s Child. ‘At Nobody’s Child we believe in transparency and accountability, and our Digital Product Passport embodies these values. By empowering our customers with knowledge about the origins of their clothing, we hope to foster a deeper connection to the products they love and encourage more conscious consumption.’

The Nobody’s Child x Happy Place by Fearne Cotton collection will be available online at nobodyschild.com and in all stores, as well as key retail partners including M&S and John Lewis. The edit is made from responsible fabrics including organic cotton and plant-based materials. Prices range from £45 to £120.
