Last Saturday Lady Kitty Spencer and her now-husband, South African businessman and chairman of Foschini Group, Michael Lewis, tied the knot in the picturesque Italian city of Frascati.

And whilst the idyllic location is certainly something to gawk at, all eyes were on Spencer’s exquisite dresses. As a global ambassador for Italian luxury fashion house Dolce & Gabbana, it was only right that the 30-year-old model and aristocrat dressed in the designer for her big day. And it appears that no expense was spared, as Dolce created five spectacular bespoke dresses for the event.

First up was a stunning floral tulle dress, described by Dolce & Gabbana as an ‘illusion baby-blue tulle gown and cape embroidered with cross-stitched flowers’. Spencer wore this ahead of the wedding at a celebratory dinner.

The star of the show, Spencer’s ivory wedding dress – ‘a Victorian inspiration lace bridal gown’ – featured an elegant high neck, puff sleeves and bridal buttons similar to those donned by her mother at her wedding to Earl Spencer in 1989.

This outstanding double organza silk gown adorned with flowers and crystals was worn by Spencer for the post-ceremony celebrations.

Other dresses included a stunning cocktail design in sliver and gold and a breath-taking Mikado dress embellished with florals and a ribbon waist tie.
