STAY
Hotel AMANO has 141 rooms available, all of which feature their signature gold design elements. The Comfy Room with Balcony offers a sleek interior, large windows, a king-size bed and a gold featured shower. With everything made simple, you can use the in-room tablet to order room service or find out more about the area.
For an extra luxurious experience, book into the Goldy Room which features a one-of-a-kind gold bath with views of the city.
The hotel additionally offers digital check-in and check-out – making your stay even more convenient.
DO
The options are endless in Covent Garden. You can stroll down to Chinatown to experience the delightful bakes from the viral Chinatown Bakery. Their Taiyaki is a necessity to try while in the area.
Visit the London Transport Museum, just a short walk from the hotel, and learn about the evolution of transport since the 1800’s. There’s also an array of markets nearby – including Apple Market and Seven Dials Market if you’re feeling peckish.
In the evening, book a show at the Royal Opera House or the Theatre Royal.
Designer brands, such as Mulberry, Tom Ford and Tiffany & Co are also located nearby. However, with the Covent Garden, Holborn and Charring Cross tube stations a short distance away, you can travel easily elsewhere around London while staying at Hotel AMANO.
EAT
Hotel AMANO is home to one of the best rooftop bars in London, offering an exciting tapas menu. Feast on the Israeli Mezze, a platter of Taboon Bread, Green Harissa, Whipped Cod’s Roe, Tomato Salsa and a Spicy Yogurt dip. The Baharat Patatas and Croquetas De Jamón are an additional must try.
Alternatively, whisk yourself downstairs to indulge yourself in an Israeli-Spanish fusion for dinner. The menu at Penelope’s derives from AMANO’s co-founder, Ariel Schiff, who grew up between Tel Aviv and south Spain. The restaurant offers a delicious new take on paella, delivering an Israeli style dish with octopus as one of the main dish options.
There’s no other way to finish a meal at Penelope’s other than with their signature Baklava Cheesecake. Set on a pastry base instead of the traditional biscuit base, the cheesecake is topped with pistachio and a sweet honey syrup.
FINAL WORD
If you are looking for a luxurious stay in a vibrant London location – this is the place to stay. Everything you could want is on your doorstep and the food and drink offerings are nothing short of incredible.
