The Goring

A favourite of the British Royal Family, The Goring is known as one of London’s most beautiful hidden hideaways. For a view as grand as the décor, be sure to book one of the hotel’s garden-facing rooms. The Goring Garden is one of the largest private gardens in the city, and thanks to a redesign in 2019, it houses hundreds of herbs and flowers that are used daily in the kitchens. The Mitre

This Grade II-listed boutique hotel is nestled on the banks of the River Thames, just a stone’s throw from Hampton Court Palace. Such a location entails some truly scenic views of London’s famed waterway, but for the best seat in the house, it has to be the bath. The copper roll top baths in the King Henry and Catherine Parr suites are propped next to large bay windows overlooking Hampton Court Bridge and the river – an ideal position to soak up the sight of boats floating by.
