Each room is individually styled, with a neat balance between classic and modern styling, with views across beautifully manicured lawns, secluded ponds and the wild downs beyond.
SPA
Spa at South Lodge opened its doors in March 2019, and the 44,000 square foot retreat features 14 treatment rooms including a mud room, four senses loungers, and a 50-strong treatment menu. The star attraction is the UK’s first heated natural swimming pool, the perfect place for a wild dip, which one of three gorgeous pools on site. The indoor infinity ozone treated pool features gorgeous views across the grounds, as does the outdoor vitality hydrotherapy pool, perfect for relaxing in before or after your treatment.
The Spa is the only in the UK to offer treatments from Hungarian skincare brand Omorovicza (the Blue Diamond Facial is the ultimate skin treat) while the hot stone and bamboo massages are the house specials. The relaxation journey continues post-treatment with the state-of-the-art four Senses Loungers that combine sound, light, scent and vibration.
If an Enoflute sparkling wine dispenser appeals, head to the Ridgeview beauty bar and book in for a mani or pedi with a glass of fizz, while male party members make the most of the Grizzly’s barbers residency, where a beer comes as standard with any haircut or wet shave.
Wasted Burger at Botanica

Formal (and excellent) dining options at South Lodge include Tom Kemble at the Pass or seasonal delights at Camellia, but if you’re sticking with your wellness kick, check out the new Botanica at the Spa. Try the Wasted Burger, a house special that is made entirely from leftover ingredients from the morning’s juices.
