Here’s what you need to know

Every season of Mike White’s Emmy award winning dramedy, The White Lotus, is filmed in an elegant Four Seasons hotel, providing a stunning backdrop for our cast of HNW characters. Season 3 will be no different, with a whole new ensemble (and a new murder mystery) set in Thailand’s idyllic Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, overlooking the Gulf of Thailand with pristine sandy beaches, lush tropical greenery, tranquil blue seas and an abundance of luxury amid the natural charm. Season 3’s setting follows season 1’s Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea in Hawaii and season 2’s San Domenico Palace, Taormina, A Four Seasons Hotel in Sicily.

Ahead of the launch of season 3, Four Seasons has revealed a brand new global partnership with HBO and The White Lotus to offer an immersive themed experience to guests at California’s Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village. ‘Formalising our partnership with HBO and Max marks an exciting milestone in our journey together, embracing a cultural phenomenon that blends exceptional storytelling with the universal love of travel,’ says Marc Speichert, executive vice president and chief commercial officer at Four Seasons. ‘Mike White and his team have created something truly special. For many Four Seasons guests, especially our pop culture enthusiasts and travel trendsetters, The White Lotus serves as the perfect travel inspiration. After showcasing the beauty of Maui and then our breathtaking Taormina property, we’re excited to celebrate Koh Samui in the third season of this beloved show.’

The White Lotus Experience At Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village

So what will the experience entail? Next year, Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village in California will transform into the world’s first immersive hotel experience, all inspired by the elegance of The White Lotus (hopefully with fewer twists, turns and tragic consequences). Guests will experience on-site activations, with many Four Seasons properties across the globe offering experiences grounded in the themes of season 3, from wellness experiences to culinary offerings.

As Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village in particular, a multi-day activation will gather guests ahead of season 3’s launch. Recently renovated across a multi-stage transformation, the 12 acre site is home to a spa, lush Cove Pool, three restaurants and more, serving as a fitting backdrop for The White Lotus experience.

The White Lotus has always been about blending authentic beauty and culture with compelling storytelling, which makes our partnership with Four Seasons an ideal fit,’ adds Pia Barlow, executive vice president of originals marketing for HBO and Max. ‘As we prepare to celebrate season three, Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village provides the perfect backdrop for our global brand partnership and multi-day experience. We’re excited to create unforgettable moments that resonate both on and off the screen.’

More details about the Westlake Village experience – and The White Lotus offerings across the globe – will be announced soon.
