Harrods has opened an exclusive accessories pop-up boutique with the Roman Jeweller Bulgari, just in time for spring.
Embrace a bright and fun side for S/S’17 with an accessories update from Bulgari’s pop-up at Harrods. Add a ladylike handbag in an unusually bright hue for a pop of colour or one of the ever popular micro bags.
The most recent collection from the Italian brand Bulgari features geometric and structured handbags, in bright jewel tones and gemstone embroidery. As the master of coloured gemstones, Bulgari accessories have a distinctive vibrancy that mean they’re perfect for standing out from the crowd around town.
The latest designs feature a new Pixel Python design, which follows the natural livery of the precious skin (above, middle), as artisans dye every single scale according to the bags individual pattern. The Serpenti Forever and Scaglie Beads handbags shine in precious gemstone colours and feature gem embellishment. Exclusively for the pop-up, Bulgari has released three Serpenti Forever handbags (bottom left), in white agate featuring Quilted Scaglie calf leather.
Styling Tip
If you are out and about in town, style these vibrant bags with relaxed denim and this season’s blazer for a modern and timeless look this spring. For dinner in town, try teaming one of these Bulgari bags with a look from S/S’17 shows or allow yourself to be inspired by one of our favourite stylish women we love to follow on Instagram. Jewel tones, especially vibrant purples, are sticking around for A/W’17 too.
S/S ’17 London Pop-Ups
Keen to find other spring exclusives while you’re in town? Other pop-ups taking place in town this month include wastED on the Selfridges rooftop, hosted by Chef Dan Barber of Blue Hill Farm (this is his first venture in the UK), where he takes waste from some British producers, (including Sharpham Park, Mast Brothers and Chase Distillery) and turns them into delicious dishes. Well worth a visit if you can get a table. See what else is going on in town this month with our Diary.
