Steven Winter Announced as Maida Vale School’s New Headmaster

Gardener Schools Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Steven Winter as founding Headmaster of Maida Vale School from January 2020. Maida Vale School is the group’s new senior co-educational independent school in North West London and will open in September 2020. 

Mr. Winter, a keen sportsman who competes in motor sports and has previously coached both hockey and rugby, comes to the role from Bethany School where is is currently Deputy Head.

Speaking about his new role he says, ‘I am delighted to be appointed as the Head of Maida Vale School.  This is an exciting challenge and we want to meet the demand for our type of school in this part of London. We will establish a modern school with clear values promoting individuality, creativity and resilience. Our curriculum will be wide ranging and challenging both academically and in extracurricular activities. Our aim is to allow talent to bloom and to encourage self-motivation in all areas of study and exploration.’
