Abbey College Cambridge Announces New Principal

Dr Ellen Hesse will become Principal of Abbey College Cambridge in the Summer 2023 term.
Having eight years of experience in senior leadership, Ellen currently works at St Clare’s in Oxford as the Vice Principal.
Ellen has also previously worked in the roles of Head of Pastoral Care and Head of Boarding.
Ellen said: ‘The students I met on my visit to Abbey College Cambridge and at events such as the Model United Nations Day and the Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity and Social Justice conference, were self-assured young people who spoke eloquently and impressed me with their high levels of motivation and engagement.’
Abbey College Cambridge specialises in helping students from around the world achieve personal, social and academic growth.
Their campus facilities include 410 single and 8 twin en-suite student bedrooms with full board facilities, common rooms and social areas, 42 fully equipped classrooms, 12 state-of-the-art science laboratories, two libraries, two Art studios, student gym and two dedicated music performance studios.
