An Inspired Choice

Inspired Learning Group (ILG), is acquiring St Francis School, Pewsey from the Hayfran Trust. The school, founded in 1941, has been providing an exceptional education for pupils aged from 3 months to 13 years for over eighty years and this move will secure its future. St Francis School will join the ILG family of 25 independent schools and nurseries which have over 3000 pupils across the UK. Based in North West London, ILG provides a strong team of experienced business and education consultants, and an Advisory Board for each of its schools.

It will be committed to providing significant investment in the school’s facilities, as well as professional development for its staff to ensure that the existing high standards of teaching and learning can be maintained and developed further. The governors decided to seek a long term, sustainable solution to enable St Francis School to continue with its development plans to enhance the education provision and facilities at the school. After careful consideration and a thorough process, ILG was chosen as the ideal partner for the school, due to its vision, values and strong track record in providing a world-class education across its schools. St Francis School has been recognised for providing a highly nurturing environment where kindness, cooperation and community are essential components of life at the school which can be reflected in the values of ILG.

Inspired Learning Group will be working closely with the Head, Mr David Lee, and his team to support them in delivering their vision to offer St Francis School pupils the best possible learning experience and outcomes. In addition, St Francis School will have the opportunity to work with other ILG schools in Berkshire, Hampshire and Dorset, benefitting from this strong network of support and expertise.

St Francis will officially become part of ILG on November 30th 2024.
