Fifteen pupils from Bede’s Legat Dance Academy performed on the main stage of London’s Excel Centre for the opening of Move It Dance Festival.
The group performed a dance called ‘Red’, choreographed by the school’s Director of Dance, Sherrie Pennington and her colleague, Emma Manes.
It was inspired by the tale Little Red Riding Hood. The dance involved six ballet dancers and contemporary jazz dancers.
The dance academy was set up in the 1970s and last year was named by Talk Education as one of the best dance schools.
