Move gives Chiswick families unrivalled access to exceptional teaching and learning, excellent facilities and outstanding pastoral care
Chiswick and Bedford Park Preparatory School is joining Dukes Education.
Dukes schools – including nearby Orchard House School, which came on board in February last year – are brought together by a common purpose: to give children the foundations for an extraordinary life through education.
Founded in 2015, today, the Dukes family is home to some of the UK’s finest independent nurseries, schools and colleges, as well as summer schools, day camps and educational consultancy services – all united in their passion for nurturing students and helping them thrive.
Now with two Dukes schools in the area, Chiswick families have unrivalled access to exceptional education, greater specialist teaching and learning, enhanced curricular opportunities and better facilities.
Both schools have their own special features, which pupils can begin sharing immediately. Supported by Dukes Education, senior teams across the two schools are working closely together to identify opportunities for collaboration and to maximise the benefits to pupils and staff of their new, special connection.
For now, the two schools will continue to operate independently – with some sharing of facilities and specialist teaching. In the longer term, it is the intention that Chiswick and Bedford Park will become part of Orchard House School resulting in better facilities, better educational opportunities and a better experience for all pupils.
Aatif Hassan, Chairman and Founder, Dukes Education, said: “I am delighted to welcome Chiswick and Bedford Park Prep to Dukes. It rightly enjoys an excellent reputation for high academic achievement and outstanding pastoral care – also the hallmarks of all Dukes schools – and I believe it will flourish as one of our family.”
