Dukes Education is expanding its innovative hybrid schooling approach at Sancton Wood School, Cambridge – offering a flexible educational alternative for pupils aged 11-16.
The hybrid model, which has shown remarkable success at London Park School Mayfair since September, combines one day of in-person practical lessons with four days of live online learning. This balanced approach maintains structured education whilst accommodating students with unique circumstances, including high-level sporting commitments or specific emotional needs.
Richard Settle, Principal of Sancton Wood School, shared his enthusiasm, ‘This initiative offers a flexible learning model that blends traditional schooling elements with home education benefits. We’re keen to welcome students who might thrive in this alternative environment whilst upholding our commitment to academic excellence and community values.’
The programme may eventually extend to sixth form students through St Andrew’s College, Cambridge. Aatif Hassan, Founder and Chairman of Dukes Education, noted, ‘Hybrid learning can be truly transformative for certain families and pupils. We’re proud to pioneer this forward-thinking educational approach.’ Learn more on the Sancton Wood School website.
