An incredible £3.3 million has been raised for the Loughborough Schools Foundation.
This money will go towards funding academic opportunities and co-curricular experiences for pupils.
The £3.3 million was raised across two academic years, and will create 35 new bursaries for those from underrepresented backgrounds. The initiatives will include STEM, music, sport and enterprise.
Loughborough also has some new developments coming, including a recording studio which will enhance the Music Tech A-level course.
A new Player Pathway Programme in Rugby and Hockey will be introduced, as well as the refurbishment of the Sixth Form Common Room which will support pupils’ well being.
Director of Development, Laura-Jane Ryves, said that the school is very grateful to the donor community who has made this all possible.
She said: ‘I firmly believe that the journey we are embarking upon will foster a more inclusive and diverse community, fully integrating young people from all backgrounds into the life of our schools.’
