Leweston Sixth Form student secures prestigious offer to study plant science at the world-famous complex


At School House Magazine, we’re deeply passionate about sustainability – that’s why we’re so excited to report that Sixth Form student, Penny, at Leweston School, has received an exceptional offer to study for a degree in Plant Science at the internationally renowned Eden Project in Cornwall. This prestigious opportunity highlights Penny’s dedication and passion for the natural world and marks a significant milestone in her academic journey.

The Eden Project, famed for its iconic biomes and ground-breaking work in sustainability and horticulture, offers a truly unique environment for studying Plant Science. Students benefit from access to an unparalleled range of resources, including the Eden Project’s extensive plant collections, diverse growing environments, nursery, and state-of-the-art teaching facilities. Furthermore, the course integrates the nationally renowned micro-propagation research facility, providing students with cutting-edge scientific insights.
