Papplewick Success at Music Festival

Year 5​ pupil from Papplewick School, David Shao, enjoyed well-deserved success in the Stratford and East London Music Festival where he won both the ‘Under 13 Piano Solo” and ‘Under 15 Baroque Piano’ Competitions! An extremely impressive achievement.

Headmaster Tom Bunbury said, ‘it was a huge accomplishment for David to achieve two wins at the Stratford and East London Music Festival and we are all very proud of him. Our inspirational Music Department continues to encourage and guide our talented musicians of all ages.’

Papplewick is a day, weekly, and full boarding preparatory school for around 210 boys between the ages of 6 and 13. Situated in 15 acres of land opposite Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire, Papplewick has an excellent record for academic achievement and feeds many of the UK’s top independent senior schools including Eton, Harrow, Winchester, Wellington, Stowe and Bradfield.
