Sir James Dutton Delivers Career Talk to Leweston Students

Sir James Dutton visited Leweston School to talk to students about his career experiences.

James touched on the importance of the students’ upcoming exams when applying for the next stages of their careers. As well as mentioning the importance of leadership skills, teamwork and enjoying your job.

There was a Q&A at the end for students to ask any further questions.

Students said:

‘I found the talk from Sir James Dutton very interesting. It was very impressive to hear about the operational roles he had carried out during his near 40 years of service for the Royal Marines.’

‘This morning’s presentation was useful, because Sir James Dutton showed us that there are very successful careers out there, also, it has opened another window for us to look into.’
