Knightsbridge School Education Foundation founder Mr Magoo has come up with a creative new way to raise money for bursaries...

Tough times require innovation and creativity.

One such innovation has been the way that the Knightsbridge School Education Foundation (KSEF) has asked Knightsbridge School (KS) parents to nominate the KSEF Bursary programme and sign up for Easy Fundraising. With 7,000 businesses signed up it should be a great way to raise funds for the bursary programme which stands at 30 100% bursaries since inception in 2007.

Mr Magoo, the KS and KSEF Founder has also thrown his weight to the appeal by following the lead of some of the KS Children by asking friends to donate to the KSEF instead of any birthday presents. When Mr. Batra, a KS parent and owner of the gin company ‘Diistil,’ asked how he could support the foundation, Mr. Magoo came up with a creative idea. They collaborated to make a unique gin, ‘Keep it Simple Gin,’ inspired by Magoo’s key values like duty, kindness, respect, and trust alongside a soldier picture drawn by Magoo himself – service.

Happy times ahead for the KSEF, we hope.
