The Curriculum
The focus is on delivering a diverse curriculum, which is engaging and inspiring for all our students. Students are set by general ability. Our sixth form students have the choice of two academic programmes – A Levels or the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB).
Games & The Arts
All pupils are given the opportunity to develop personal fitness during their varied PE lessons, and participate in weekly sports fixtures.
We offer art all the way through to IB and A Level, and many of our pupils gain excellent examination grades and acceptance into major Art schools.
Pastoral Care
Excellent pastoral care and the wellbeing of all our pupils is intrinsic to everything we do. The Independent School’s Inspectorate report, 2019 stated “(Students) enjoy school and thrive in the nurturing and supportive environment provided by the excellent pastoral care system and family atmosphere in boarding and day houses.’’
Recent Scholarships
We offer tailored scholarship programs in these categories: Academic, Art, Drama, Music, Sport.
Head Teacher’s Philosophy

We follow this philosophy and its IDEALS of Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership and Service underpin our school ethos and values.
Outstanding Characteristics
We offer an extensive timetabled co-curricular programme of over 60 to develop our students interests and gain life skills such as Robotics, Podcast Club, Cookery and High Ropes.
