The Curriculum

KPS offers an intellectually stimulating environment where students can learn and grow, but also have fun. While our staff are rigorous in their approach to teaching and learning, they are thoroughly modern in their outlook and practice.

Games & the Arts

The school works with several outstanding local facilities for the delivery of its sport programme, such as the Porchester Centre, Will to Win, and the Old Football Pitches in Hyde Park. Our state-of-the-art theatre and creative suite offer exceptional music, drama, and arts facilities.

Pastoral Care

Personal tutors are key figures in pupils’ lives throughout their time at KPS, overseeing students’ progress and wellbeing, and providing individualised support and guidance as they progress through the school. Tutors help forge the essential partnership between our students, families, and staff, acting as a first port of call for day-to-day or pastoral concerns, and providing parents with regular updates on their child’s progress through fortnightly emails home.

Recent Scholarships

KPS students secure places on competitive undergraduate courses at leading universities in the UK and worldwide, including Oxbridge and UCL.

Head Teacher’s Philosophy

At KPS, we identify and develop the individual talents and all-round potential of every pupil and work to ensure that they flourish and make rapid progress in our overtly holistic environment. This strong sense of purpose and inclusive ethos across both the Senior School and Sixth Form means every student in our care is known, and valued as a vital part of the KPS community.

Outstanding Characterisics

With small class sizes and exceptional pastoral care, each student at KPS is individually valued, known, and affirmed. Our central London location also forms the backdrop to our academic and co-curricular provision, with Hyde Park offering the perfect setting for students to take an active break from their studies at lunchtime and provide a ready venue for sport and Games.
