The Curriculum

Individual strengths are celebrated and stretched and weaknesses supported. Lessons are adapted to individual needs and there is a strong Learning Enrichment department.
Games & The Arts
Weekly sports and shared events with LPS Clapham. The emphasis is on helping students find activities they enjoy, whether traditional team sports or more individual pursuits. An elite sports pathway is also on offer. There’s a wide range of extracurricular clubs and thriving Art, Music and Drama with regular ‘Mayfair MADness’ showcases throughout the year.
Pastoral Care
Kindness is the golden thread that runs throughout the school. The well-being of each child is paramount, and there’s a strong focus on bespoke, personal care and helping students develop skills to navigate life’s complexities. The school offers an excellent tutorial system and an on-site counsellor, ensuring a balance of challenge and support.
Results
The individualised approach delivers strong results at GCSE (53% 9-7 in 2024). Students transition seamlessly LPS Sixth for A Levels.
Head Teacher’s Philosophy
Dr Rainbow’s philosophy is shaped by his early career as a professional American football player. He believes in ‘character education’, balancing academics with a well-rounded curriculum that not only challenges but develops the skills needed for future success: courage; collaboration; compassion and creativity whilst celebrating all that London has to offer.
