The Curriculum

The prep school follows the Cranwell Curriculum, which has been designed to be diverse, engaging and girl-centered. At senior level the rich, forward-thinking academic curriculum is underpinned with high quality teaching and academic rigour.

Games & The Arts

Royal High Bath offers an extensive range of extra-curricular activities which further enrich our exciting curriculum. There are a wide range of activities girls can take part in, which all enable them to explore new things, discover new interests and further develop their talents and strengths.

Pastoral Care

Royal High Bath aims to support each and every girl as she goes through her life at school. The school prides itself on being a friendly and welcoming environment that offers many opportunities for the girls to have fun while they learn. The girls, like all of us, may face difficulties and challenges in their personal or school lives, and staff work with them to help them to develop the resilience to be able to deal with these.

University Places

At sixth form, the school has an experienced UCAS and tutor team to support and guide families through the application procedure. On average, 75 percent of leavers have been to Russell Group UK institutions, but each year Royal High Bath has successful applications to specialist institutions both in the UK and overseas.

Head Teacher’s Philosophy

Royal High is a remarkable school for girls to belong to. Girls will always come first for us – everything we do is built around girls and their needs.  At Royal High we value tradition whilst embracing tomorrow’s world through innovative and creative thinking. We strive to be an outward looking school, generous in its service and partnerships to others, inclusive and diverse in its outlook. Royal High is a school where every girl matters, every voice is heard, and everyone is empowered to explore and to try anything. You will experience this – alongside our warmth and smiles – as soon as you step foot through our door. At the heart of what we do is a desire to educate and empower a school of curious young people by equipping them with the skills, confidence and compassion to live a life unlimited. Along with the academic excellence the school is renowned for, we pride ourselves on how we nurture compassion as much as excellence, where girls spark off one another and support each other as they build skills and confidence for learning and in life.
