Christmas Windows & Façades To Look Out For In London

Fortnum & Mason

Unveiling a festive ‘feast’ for the eyes, Fortnum & Mason’s Christmas windows tap into the store’s rich heritage (and bountiful food halls). Opting for the theme ‘Feast of the Season’, the display tells the story of a magical Christmas feast set against Fortnum’s new seasonal packaging and British woodlands. Featuring squirrels, mice, hares, golden-antlered deer and even Fortnum’s elusive crackerdile, expect a jubilant celebration of the season’s foodie favourites. You can read more about the Fortnum & Mason Christmas window here.

Harvey Nichols

A slightly spookier take on Christmas comes from Harvey Nichols this year. The department store continues to celebrate its partnership with the Design Museum’s The World of Tim Burton exhibition, with a festive window display inspired by director’s signature aesthetic. Sitting centre stage are five sculptures from Burton’s private collection, which bring a touch of eerie whimsy to London’s store fronts.

Selfridges

Maximalist celebrations take place over at Selfridges, where the department store has given its windows over to a team of creators and collaborators. With the likes of Max Allen (costume designer to Santa and the Selfridges Christmas entertainers), Emily Pugh (window contributor and Christmas tree stylist), artist Andrew Logan, LOVERBOY Creative Director Charles Jeffrey and multi-disciplinary creative Flaminia Veronesi taking part in this year’s festivities, this year’s display is packed full of joy and a ‘More the Merrier!’ attitude.

Annabel’s

Annabel’s is known for its jaw-dropping Christmas façades – and this year, it keeps up its impressive streak of wow-worthy displays with a whimsical snow globe design. Crafted in partnership with The Caring Family Foundation, the premier members’ club worked with Tatiana Kharchylava, Creative Director of The Birley Clubs, on the design. Inspired by the dreams and unguarded joy of childhood, the display has been donned with glittering lights, gold finishes and an ornate peacock.
