We can always count on Barbour to deliver when it comes to a designer collab. And its latest is no different. Unveiling a surprise capsule collection created in collaboration with London Fashion Week regular ERDEM, Barbour reminds us why it remains one of our favourite British brands.

Barbour x ERDEM: Everything You Need To Know
As we mentioned, Barbour is no stranger to a collab. But, if its ongoing relationship with Scandi label GANNI is anything to go by, the brand is also rather fond of a sequel. And ERDEM is the latest name to join the double bill club. Following their collaboration for ERDEM’s SS24 runway, the two have once again come together for a new line of outerwear staples.
‘We are excited to be able to offer this collaboration to our customers, following the success of our previous partnership,’ said Nicola Brown, Director of Womenswear at Barbour. ‘The collection marries the timeless craftsmanship and quality of both brands, taking Erdem’s romantic and contemporary approach combined with our most iconic silhouettes and wax fabrications.’
Collection Highlights
Comprised of four key outwear pieces – The Beauflower, The Dhalia, The Clover and The Constance – plus a Re-Loved style, the collection brings together ‘ERDEM’s language of poetic and modern femininity with Barbour’s traditional practicality and heritage fabrications’. Taking its cues from ERDEM’s design ethos, it also features fluid silhouettes, crisp tailoring and details inspired by the natural world. All four styles come in sand and olive colourways, with a detachable hood boasting a checked interior and etched floral overprint also up for grabs.
There’s the androgynous silhouette of The Beauflower, which comes with contrasting, patchworked waxed cottons and an inky rose bloom overprint. (It is also the latest evolution of Barbour’s Beaufort wax jacket.) The Dahlia, meanwhile, builds on the floral theme with a petal-like, ‘exploded peplum’ waist and an etched flower overprint.
Speaking on the details, ERDEM Creative Director, Erdem Moralioglu MBE, said: ‘I was inspired by the extraordinary Barbour archive, particularly their fabrications and hardware and loved the idea of translating their heritage of practical, utilitarian details and combining it with my language of the feminine.’
Barbour’s signature prints shine through with The Clover, a reversable swing jacket in dry wax cotton. Here, the lining features the iconic Barbour tartan with a placed grass green rose that is overprinted. In contrast, ERDEM’s influences shine through in The Constance; this wax jacket combines a classic ERDEM tailored silhouette with utilitarian details.
The new capsule also harks back to the two brands’ first collaboration, through an extension of Barbour’s Re-Loved initiative. A line of 25 pre-owned jackets have been given a second life, restored with an oversized cord collar and silver hardware eyelets that take inspiration from the ERDEM SS24 show.
