The DO GOOD Pop-Up At Bicester Village Is Back

Heading back to Bicester Village for a fourth year this summer is DO GOOD, a pop-up boutique created in collaboration with charity Smart Works. The shopping space, which houses a collection of new, pre-loved and vintage pieces, will invite visitors to join a circular shopping experience in aid of female empowerment in the workplace.

Speaking on the return of the DO GOOD pop-up, Chantal Khoueiry, Chief Culture Officer at The Bicester Collection, said: ‘As part of our global philanthropic programme DO GOOD, The Bicester Collection is delighted to welcome Smart Works back to Bicester Village for the fourth consecutive year. The DO GOOD x Smart Works pop-up represents our enduring commitment to supporting remarkable organizations generating a ripple effect of positive change.

‘With 100 percent of sales donated directly to Smart Works, the power of your purchase will #UnlockFutures for women in the United Kingdom trying to secure employment and reach their full potential.’

As Chantal mentioned, all proceeds from the pop-up boutique will be going straight to the charity. Smart Works offers numerous services for women to help them look and feel ready to unlock their potential, hosting appointments to create the perfect interview outfit and offering further interview coaching. Those who go on to get the job are then invited to return to Smart Works to build a capsule wardrobe to support them in their first month at their new role.

‘Our partnership with Bicester Village has been truly transformative, allowing us to double the number of women we support and raise vital funds for the Smart Works service,’ commented Tiffanie Darke, Acting CEO of Smart Works. ‘We are thrilled to be back for our fourth DO GOOD pop-up, using fashion as a force for good and empowering unemployed women to transform their lives.’

What To Expect

Open throughout July and August, the boutique will host a curated selection of new designer women’s clothing, jewellery, shoes and bags – with notable designers including Frame, Varley, ALIGNE and Dear Frances – as well as pre-loved and vintage pieces from heritage French and British fashion houses.

What’s more, shoppers will also be able to raid the wardrobes of renowned style trendsetters Jess Diner, Emma Rose Thatcher and Ebony Frances (and more), who have all donated items to the pop-up.
