Littlest Luxuries Is Back & Ready To Shake Up The Pre-Loved Childrenswear Market

'The sky's the limit'

As most parents with growing kids will know, childrenswear has a notoriously short shelf life. This, understandably, makes for a lot of outgrown clothes left to sit in the backs of wardrobes (Hubbub estimates that there are 183 million items of outgrown baby clothing tucked away in UK homes), charity shops and landfill. And then the dilemma sets in: how can we extend the longevity of our kids’ clothes? Go pre-loved. Resale is a thriving space right now – especially when it comes to childrenswear, which is expected to grow by 493 percent as a category over the next decade. Joining the movement is Littlest Luxuries, which relaunches to the public this September.

Littlest Luxuries Returns To The Resale Market

When it comes to resale sites, grown-ups can take their pick from hundreds of quality services. Childrenswear, on the other hand, is an undeniably smaller market – despite its rapid growth. So, when a new name enters the chat, we (and parents) take notice. Recently relaunched following a merger with resale platform Little Fashion House, pre-loved destination Littlest Luxuries is ready to set the bar.

Designer kids' shoes

Offering a peer-to-peer marketplace for designer childrenswear, Littles Luxuries is home to a quality range of kids’ clothing spanning ages 0 to 16 years. But what sets the business apart from its competitors is its commitment to authenticated luxury; the platform provides an authentication service powered by Real Authenticate, so that buyers’ items are properly valued and sellers can rest assured they’re getting the real deal.

The platform will also offer a VIP white glove service, where Littlest Luxuries will take care of collecting, photographing, processing, storing and shipping garments.

Having each run their own successful luxury kidswear consignment websites, Littlest Luxuries co-founders Lucy Walford and Stephanie Affleck bring over 10 years of industry experience to the table. Affleck, who was a finalist on the BBC’s The Apprentice back in 2022, founded Little Fashion House in 2021.

‘The sky’s the limit with Littlest Luxuries,’ said the platform’s founders. ‘The demand to buy and sell kids clothing in a peer-to-peer capacity is there, and this has only been exemplified by the feedback our customers have given us over the last 12 months.

‘The need for a destination like Littlest Luxuries to exist is clear, and we are here to fulfil the gap in the market. We’re passionate about playing a part in reducing childrenswear clothing waste, and connect more parents to buy and sell from one another via a seamless digital experience.’
