As one of cinema's rising stars, heads often turn to the arrival of Stacy Martin on the red carpet – and her appearance at the 2025 BAFTAs was no exception.
Bagging four awards at last night’s BAFTA Film Awards – including Best Director and Best Actor in a Leading Role – it’s safe to say that Brady Corbet’s architectural epic The Brutalist is keeping up its awards season streak. But the project’s wins don’t end onstage; a glimpse at the red carpet shows they’re just as capable of stealing the show away from the big screen too. We’re of course talking about The Brutalist alum Stacy Martin, whose BAFTAs red carpet look generated quite the buzz.
Stacy Martin Takes Inspiration From Her Brutalist Character For BAFTAs Red Carpet Look
Florals, for spring? Maybe not so groundbreaking on their own, but when teamed up with the glamour of a red carpet and the star power of one Stacy Martin they take on a whole new dimension.
The Brutalist star walked the 2025 BAFTAs red carpet in a light green silk mousseline slip dress by Louis Vuitton, which was decorated with dainty floral embroidery. She teamed up the gown with multiple jewellery pieces from the brand’s High Jewellery Collection.

The glittering gown was definitely one of the more eye-catching of the evening – which Martin explained was very intentional. Drawing on her Brutalist character, Maggie, the star opted for something that was purposely bold. ‘She’s very glamorous and I wanted to bring in a bit of her character in my outfit,’ the actress said of her character to Elle UK. ‘There’s something very elegant and classic that I loved; she loves a celebration and statement pieces, so tying that with Nicolas Ghesquière’s modern cuts at Louis Vuitton felt like the perfect pairing between Maggie and myself.’
Martin joined the ranks of several Louis Vuitton-clad stars on the BAFTAs red carpet, including Saoirse Ronan and Wicked‘s Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande.
Awards Highlights
Off the red carpet, 2025 BAFTA Film Awards highlights included host David Tennant opening the ceremony with a live rendition of The Proclaimers’ ‘500 Miles’ (in a kilt, of course); Conclave and The Brutalist leading the awards and taking home four each; emotional acceptance speeches from Zoe Saldana and Warwick Davies; and a piano rendition of ‘As Time Goes By’ performed by Jeff Goldblum during the In Memoriam segment.
