Social season is well and truly underway in the UK – and the next big event takes us back to London for a spot of tennis. We’re of course talking about the Wimbledon Championships, one of the biggest tennis tournaments in the world. If you’ve managed to grab tickets this year (or are getting ready to join the queue), then you’ll need to look the part. Lucky for you, we’ve teamed up with eBay to bring you an edit of the best pre-loved fashion finds for a day at Wimbledon.

The Summer Dress
Wimbledon is the perfect occasion to crack out that smart summer dress you’ve been keeping safe in the back of your wardrobe. You’ll often catch visitors dressed in bright, summery colours – even Andy Murray’s wife Kim Sears is partial to a bold floral print – although the smaller details are up to personal preference. (We’d recommend opting for cap sleeves to save your shoulders from the sun, however.)
The Dressy Jumpsuit
Skirts not your thing? Not to worry, there are plenty of other pre-loved fashion options for your Wimbledon wardrobe. A jumpsuit can still emulate the feeling of dressing up – especially when paired with a smart heel and clutch – and will also keep you covered from both the sun and the rain (it is England, after all).
Tennis Whites
The perfect way to signal your love of the sport without giving in to sports kit and merchandise? Tennis whites, of course. A classic white dress offers a sophisticated take on the look, and will even keep you cool in the heat. Keep it as minimal or detailed as you like, just make sure you don’t look like you’re about to take to the court…
The Tennis Bracelet
Want to bring a little bling to the courts this summer? Then you’ll need a tennis bracelet. Made popular by athlete Chris Evert following a very panicked search for her missing bracelet on the courts of the 1987 US Open, the tennis bracelet was designed to be both beautiful and durable – with a clasp strong enough to withstand tennis serves. You’ll spot a mix of players and onlookers repping this jewellery must-have throughout the event.
The Summer Wedge
Summer also calls for the return of one of our favourite seasonal shoe trends: the humble wedge sandal. Whether low or high heeled, these shoes pair well with pretty much any Wimbledon fit. White dress? A nice neutral balance. Jumpsuit? Perfect for lengthening the leg. Floral prints? The ultimate summer combo.
