A Chanel ‘Lipstick Playground’ Is Coming To London This March

The Chanel Rouge Coco Playground pop-up celebrates the luxury label's famed lipstick creations
When Chanel set up its beauty boutique in Covent Garden just over 10 years ago, it was the first to land in the iconic shopping district (and the brand’s first beauty boutique worldwide). And now, a decade later, Chanel is back with a massive playground-inspired pop-up to celebrate its signature lipstick collections.
How To Visit The Chanel Rouge Coco Playground Pop-Up
Taking over Covent Garden’s Piazza, the Chanel Rouge Coco Playground will act as an immersive discovery experience for fans of the label. Symbolising ‘the playful Rouge Coco lipsticks in a breezy beach scene’, the playground will celebrate all the Rouge Coco Lipstick Collections through a combination of activations, masterclasses and shopping opportunities.
What To Expect
Visitors to the ‘playground’ will be able to explore the Chanel landscape to their heart’s content, with a range of games and interactive activities on offer:
- Discover the Rouge Coco lip collections
- Play games
- Watch daily skateboarder performances
- Create your own Coco Ride video at the photocall
- Enjoy scoops of the brand’s gourmet Coco Cream Sorbet
A selection of makeup services and masterclasses will also be available to book via Chanel’s website. Opt for either the 60-minute makeup service, a bespoke one-to-one beauty service with a Chanel make-up artist to create a personalised makeup look, or the 75-minute masterclass, where you can learn tips to create a luxe makeup look. (Booking fees for both events are redeemable against products at the pop-up – and you’ll even receive a goodie bag.)
Night owls can even book onto an after-hours party event, the Rouge Coco Soirée. The event, which is billed as a ‘party in the playground’ promises the opportunity to ‘discover makeup collections and enjoy games of skill, music and refreshments.’
Chanel’s extensive line of lipsticks – Rouge Coco, Rouge Coco Flash, Rouge Coco Baume and Rouge Coco Baume Shine – will also be available to purchase, as well as a pop-up exclusive set. The Rouge Coco Playground exclusive comprises a two-shade customisable set (a choice of two lipsticks from the Rouge Coco collections) adorned with a Chanel lipstick bag charm.

When Is The Pop-Up?
The Chanel Rouge Coco Playground pop-up will be open from Friday 21 until Sunday 30 March 2025. Check the opening times below to plan your visit:
- Monday-Saturday: 10am to 7pm
- Sunday: 12pm to 6pm
You can also catch the event’s live skating performances daily (12pm to 1.30pm, 2.30pm to 4pm and 5pm to 6.30pm).
