A Jellycat Christmas Pop-Up Has Just Arrived In Birmingham

The Jellycat takeover continues – and this time, it’s a festive edition. Moving away from city capitals (Paris, New York – we’re looking at you) this season, the toy brand returns to its UK roots with a massive takeover of Selfridges’ Birmingham store. What To Expect From The Jellycat General Store Pop-Up In Birmingham

Spanning a massive 1,830 sq ft, the Bimingham General Store has become Jellycat’s largest UK outpost – and its most festive. Inspired by nostalgic shopping experiences in vintage supermarkets, the General Store comes kitted out with counters, shelves and geometric floor tiles (all in Jellycat’s signature blue) as well as orange jelly-inspired lighting. A quick browse of the imitation fridges – organised by ‘category’ – showcases the toy brand’s latest releases and limited edition festive creations, just in time for Christmas.

‘We’re delighted to welcome the new Jellycat General Store to Selfridges Birmingham,’ commented Sam Watson, Selfridges Birmingham Store Director. ‘It’s a fun destination for customers to explore the Jellycat collection with over 300 creations to choose from. Who could resist cuddling up to one of the giant Jellies? Our customers are huge fans of Jellycat so this new opening is perfect timing for those starting their Christmas shopping.’

Which Jellycat Plushies Are At The Birmingham General Store Pop-Up?

Visitors to Jellycat Birmingham will be able to shop the brand’s core ranges, as well as their festive offerings – including the sold-out Bartholomew Bear in his winter PJs.

A dedicated space has also been set up for the Baby Jellycat line. Inspired by the brand’s most beloved characters, the range includes ring rattles, musical pulls, blankies, comforters, soothers and luxury gifts for little ones. All are designed in incredibly soft fabrics, making for the perfect comfort objects.

How Long Is It Running?

Good news for Jellycat fans, the General Store is expected to stay open at Selfridges Birmingham for the foreseeable.
