Who doesn’t want something new and sparkly this time of year? Whether it’s a new party season cocktail ring, or a statement classic watch, here is our edit of the best watches and jewellery available this winter.

The modern elegance of Messika jewellery, worn by the likes of Kristen Stewart (at Cannes Film Festival), Beyonce and Sienna Miller or the new Fendi fashion watches by Delfina Delettrez are easy ways to elevate your style luxuriously.

A classic mens watch never goes out of style (try the Bulgari Octo Finissimo Minute Repeater) while the Rolex Lady Datejust 28 is perfect for a more feminine take.

But it’s not all about watches. Now time for the jewels. From the fine jewellery of Dior and Messika to ethical emeralds and pearls, you’ll have plenty of accessories options this party season. So whether these gems are going to the top of your Christmas list, or are a little cure for any impending winter blues, make sure you get the best of the best with our edit.

Avril Groom, who edits our Jewellery & Watches Magazine, discusses the state of luxury industry in the Editor’s Letter:

This year’s supplement has a faintly British mood – not just homegrown brands (British watch and jewellery aficionados are far too cosmopolitan for that) but in exploring our close and loving relationships with Europe’s greatest houses. The high jewellers who normally reveal their new designs at the public Biennale des Antiquaires, in Paris, decided this year to show privately to clients instead, so our team became jewel thieves, snatching the best pieces for your eyes only in a daring photographic heist.

Last week, The Eve’s Watch Awards took place, listing the 10 best watches in the world. The watch of the year was awarded to the Chanel boy.friend watch, while best brand went to Bulgari and best design was given to Nomos for their Metro Neomatik Champagner watch.
