Rejina Pyo Opens Flagship Store in Soho
Designer-of-the-moment Rejina Pyo has opened her first permanent bricks-and-mortar flagship store on Upper James Street in London’s Soho.
The store will feature the brand’s ready-to-wear, bags, accessories and footwear collections, and it will also offer exclusive styles and a series of homeware and lifestyle products to customers.
In collaboration with local artists and makers, Rejina has designed bespoke fittings and furniture to fill the space: wrought iron rails are held together by abstract sculptures of the human form, while a mirror with a hand-moulded metal surround hangs on the wall outside the fitting rooms, which are draped in linen adorned with Rejina Pyo buttons and fabrics.
‘I started Rejina Pyo to not only make clothes that I wanted to wear but to dress my friends and the inspiring women around me,’ explains the designer. ‘It is the everyday elements of real life that I am really inspired by. This store is an opportunity to interact with our community directly, to share more than the finished products by creating a world full of interesting curiosities.
I want it to be the type of place you want to tell your friends about, a destination when travelling through London, where you can talk to our team and create lasting memories. This store will be a place where we host events and exhibitions and ultimately connect with you. I am beyond excited to open the doors.’

Halfpenny London Launches Colour Exclusively at Harrods
Dreamy British bridalwear brand Halfpenny London is expanding its remit further into bridesmaid dresses and evening looks, with the launch of a new capsule collection of exquisite colourful dresses exclusively at Harrods.
Each piece is one of its beloved contemporary bridal designs, reimagined in glorious jewel tones, pretty pastels and the ultimate little black dress. Perfect for keeping it oh-so-stylish while on bridesmaid duty, or for any upcoming glamorous evening event in your diary.
‘Whilst my bridal gowns are for the most part exclusively ivory, I am, in fact, obsessed with colour!’ says Kate Halfpenny, founder and designer. ‘My home and the Halfpenny London boutique and atelier are decorated with rich, bold tones with unexpected accents, and I’ve channelled that playfulness into this new edit of evening gowns and separates, with a colour palette which feels exciting and relevant to the modern woman.Â
When designing my wedding dresses, I always consider the sublime beauty of the female form and endeavour to make each woman feel like the very best version of herself. That ethos is deeply embedded in our DNA and, made here in London, each garment in the Harrods collection has been crafted to make the wearer look and feel incredible. I’m over the moon to extend our offering within the world’s most iconic department store and relish the opportunity to empower many more women as they enjoy wearing these beautiful pieces.’
