Duke + Dexter Reveals First Look At Its Easy-Breezy SS22 Collection, Time + Place
London-based men’s footwear brand Duke + Dexter is all about taking it easy this summer. In its new campaign for SS22, it showcases its latest line-up of soft suede trainers, effortless leather loafers and multi-hued nubuck boat shoes in a series of sun-soaked images shot in California.
‘Our SS22 collection is inspired by leisure,’ explains Duke + Dexter’s CEO and founder, Archie Hewlett. ‘The greenery of a country club, the free aesthetic of the 80s and 90s and a sense of freedom that only comes with playing your summer soundtrack with the roof down.’
The shoot reflects the D+D team’s time in California together – so rather than a polished campaign full of pictures of models, the result is images featuring the brand’s designers, photographers, friends and people they met along the way.
It evokes memories of long-lost teenage holidays, lazy days on the tennis court and just hanging out with friends on a baking hot, endless evening. What better way to spend your summer? And in a pair of fab new kicks, naturally.

Graff Launches ‘Graffabulous’, A New 80-Piece Collection of Fantastical Jewels
Graff’s latest high jewellery collection has just launched, and it’s a celebration of the fantastical beauty and majesty of natural diamonds and gems. ‘Graffabulous’ features more than 80 pieces of unmatchable fine jewellery, each one-of-a-kind and together comprising an unprecedented 3,600 carats worth of diamonds, emeralds, rubies and sapphires.
These remarkable natural stones, all of which have been carefully collected by Graff over the years, have been transformed by the jeweller’s expert craftsmen and women into a range of three-dimensional, dazzling pieces.
‘As designers, we listen to the songs the stones are signing, focusing on the music and the rhythm,’ explains Anne-Eva Geffroy, Graff’s Design Director. ‘Like the ripples that emanate outwards when a stone is dropped in water, the tempo increases and the jewels graduate in size until they reach a crescendo: a central motif where the full force of these natural gemstones is concentrated.’
The accompanying ‘Graffabulous’ campaign is shot by rising star Carlijn Jacobs, and features Graff’s new muse, Grace Elizabeth, alongside fellow models Aya Jones and Qun Ye. The resulting images are a reimagining of goddesses from ancient mythology, and evoke the very essence of the Earth – where these incredible stones originated.

Berry Bros. & Rudd Toast the Jubilee with Limited-Edition Claret Label
Holding two Royal Warrants, from both the Queen and the Prince of Wales, Berry Bros. & Rudd has also been keeping the royal household well stocked for over 300 years.
The wine merchant is marking the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee by launching a new limited-edition label for its iconic Good Ordinary Claret, designed by British printmaker and illustrator Tom Frost. The screen-printed artwork depicts a blossoming tree within a wine glass, and is available in a run of 10,000 bottles, launching mid-April.
The tree on the label also references Berry Bros. & Rudd’s commitment to sustainability, with a percentage of its profits from sales donated to charities The Queen’s Green Canopy and Woodland Heritage Trust. The bottles have also all been produced capsule-free to help reduce waste and environmental impact.
Lizzy Rudd, Chair of Berry Bros. & Rudd comments on the launch: ‘It was important when planning this collaboration to ensure a synergy between the label design, our choice of charity partners and the brand’s commitments to sustainability for the brand, so we’re thrilled that the final product is such a beautiful incarnation of all of our goals.’
She adds; ‘Previous Good Ordinary Claret limited-edition labels have always proved popular among our customers, some even becoming collectors’ items themselves. We’re thrilled that Tom was able to create such a beautiful label for this momentous occasion.’

Elizabeth Scarlett Launches Rebirth Collection
Using fabric that’s been rescued from landfill, British luxury accessories brand Elizabeth Scarlett’s new Rebirth collection is a more planet-friendly choice this spring and summer. The limited-edition range of travel pouches and a frilled tote are upcycled from rejected cotton deadstock fabric and embroidered with golden dragonfly and star motifs.
For the Rebirth collection, the brand’s founder and designer, Elizabeth Scarlett Petrides, sourced unwanted fabrics from a factory in Rajasthan, India, a country that is currently overwhelmed by deadstock fabric, due to a legacy of cancelled orders during the pandemic.
‘Designing and creating the Rebirth collection has been one of my proudest Elizabeth Scarlett moments to date,’ says Elizabeth. ‘As a team, we are constantly trying to find innovative ways to give back to the natural world that inspires our designs. I am so thrilled that we have been able to breathe fresh life into these incredible fabrics, while supporting those who have been devastated by the impact of the pandemic.’

Finding ways to reuse what you already have is a great way to live more sustainably. Which is why Kitty Joyas’ new jewellery repurposing service caught C&TH’s eye. The London-based jewellery designer, who champions a slower and more thoughtful approach to design and creation, has launched Joyas Cycle, a repurposing service created to breathe new life into old jewellery.
Customers are invited to bring their old, broken or unwanted jewellery to Kitty Joyas, and leave with something entirely bespoke and personal, reimagined together by the customer and Kitty herself. The collaborative three-step process includes a consultation, in which design ideas, material options and budget are discussed; the creation of design ideas by Kitty and her team, which are shared with the customer for feedback; and the creation of the final reimagined piece, using recycled silver and gold from the UK and traditional techniques such as planishing, hand-wiring and engraving. Everything is sourced and made entirely in the UK.
‘Every single project we have worked on is completely unique and tells its own story – that’s what makes the process so magical for us and the customer,’ says Kitty Fuller, the brand’s founder and designer.
Prices range from £200 to £2,00, book a consultation today, kittyjoyas.com
