Escaping London for a few days to enjoy the tranquillity of the Lake District is the perfect way to usher in the winter – especially staying at Aquila. A luxurious lakehouse perched on the glistening shoreline of Haweswater in the enchanting Mardale Valley, here’s how the Tesla Powerwall 3 has transformed the property into an eco retreat.

Nestled amid the tarns and fells, Aquila offers an exceptional setting for a weekend escape from the city.
